Due to financial constraints, her grandmother and trainer cannot accompany her to provide crucial support. The end of apartheid was supposed to be a new beginning for thousands of black families splintered across South Africa. However, poverty and despair amongst South African township families remain. Our Story
My name is Josh Roth. In 2018, my family and I embarked on a community-based experiential safari experience throughout Africa. We were fortunate to take the road less traveled to meet amazing families who live in townships, such as Khayelitsha, in Cape Town. After gaining first-hand knowledge of their unimaginable living conditions, I embarked on this mission to make a difference in our world.
