Love S.A. continues to expand its reach throughout the world. While in Zambia, our founders learned about an inspirational story about a local man named Alfred. Alfred is from a small village near Mfuwe, Zambia. Alfred was disheartened to see countless children, some orphaned, aimlessly wander dusty roads day after day. Many children in Mfuwe and the surrounding villages do not go to school because they cannot afford to pay the school fees.

Alfred wanted to make a positive difference in these children’s lives and provide a pathway for them to return to school. He decided to create the Pamutunda Warriors soccer team. The team consists of about 30 boys and girls, ranging in age from about 10 to 18. With little equipment and no uniforms, Alfred inspires these children to regularly show-up to soccer practice and commit to the team sport. Alfred does his best to help these children recognize and own the power of their choices, decisions and actions through sport.

Our founders admire and respect Alfred’s dedication. They were fortunate to meet Alfred and his team while in Mfuwe. Our founders wanted to help. They sponsored the Pamutunda Warriors and provided the players with soccer jerseys. But, they want to do more on an ongoing basis.

Our founders decided to create Love Zambia! Love Zambia seeks to raise funds to support the Pamutunda Warriors. These funds will be used to purchase soccer uniforms, shoes, balls and goal posts. Ideally, Love Zambia would like to even provide funds for the soccer team to allow them to enter into local soccer tournaments. The Pamutunda Warriors will be grateful for your support.

As Love Zambia grows, it will continue to support the children in Zambia in other ways too!
